Frank West spotted in Left 4 Dead 2 ‘The Passing’

It’s always nice to see a cross-game tie-in. It’s a big shout out from one developer to the other, telling them they enjoyed the others’ game and is a sign of respect, as well.

In the today-released Left 4 Dead 2 DLC – The Passing – Valve gives a shout out to Capcom‘s Dead Rising. In Chapter 2, a keen-eyed blogger discovered these words written on the wall: “Otis, Out of film, No Helicopter, Zombies are too fast. Not going to make it. – Frank West”

Sounds like he was in a pickle when writing this. Let’s hope he made it out alive.
