Dille: God of War III hit a million in “just a couple days”

God of War III has sold over one million units in “just a couple days”, Sony Computer Entertainment VP of Marketing Peter Dille told IGN.com after yesterday’s MI6 Conference.

The game launched in North America on March 16 following a European and Australian launch on March 17 and 18. Dille did not clarify whether the sales numbers were limited strictly to North America or whether they were total worldwide sales. Either way, they’re impressive numbers, for sure.

Guess we’ll have to wait for the monthly NPDs to see how God of War III stacked up against the rest of the competition in March.
