Molyneux: Fable III needs to sell five million

At Peter Molyneux’s panel during the Game Developers Conference, the Fable creator has said that the third game, Fable III, needs to sell a hefty five million in order to succeed.

The first Fable managed to sell three million while the sequel sold more than 3.5 million units.

Molyneux also mentioned that over half the people who’ve played Fable II didn’t know about most of the features available to the player in the game. He wants those who play Fable III to realize every opportunity.

Fable III hits Xbox 360 this holiday.
