ModNation Racers dated, pre-order bonuses detailed

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced today that ModNation Racers – the customizable racer that lets players create their own characters, karts, and tracks – will hit store shelves in North America on May 25, 2010.

Of course, pre-order incentives will be given out. They come in the form of custom mods featuring a few iconic Sony characters.

Pre-ordering from GameStop will get players a Kratos racer along with a Kart of Chaos. Pre-ordering from Amazon allows players to race as Ratchet or Clank. Pre-ordering from Best Buy will get players Nathan Drake and his Jungle Jeep.

Pre-ordering will also get you a second downloadable set. However, instead of reveal them, Sony’s given us silhouettes instead. They’ll show us, eventually.
