Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack is damn pricey

Late this month, Xbox LIVE will be complemented with a new map pack for Modern Warfare 2 to clear any signs of Mapathy gamers have been experiencing lately. Awesome. So, how much will it cost?

On the latest Major Nelson podcast, Infinity Ward‘s Robert Bowling – in an effort to promote the upcoming “Stimulus Package” map pack – has revealed that the downloadable content will cost 1200 Microsoft points, or $15 USD. That includes five maps, two of which are classic maps from the first Modern Warfare.

Ouch. That’s mucho dinero for three new maps.
