SCEA Senior VP of Publisher Relations, Rob Dyer, has said that PlayStation 3‘s upcoming motion controller will par well with its competitors. Not only is this motion controller competing with Wii, but it’s competing with Project Natal, as well. Dyer’s expectations? “We’re going to have a lot more games, a lot more innovation,” he said.
“It’s easier to develop for,” Dyer told IndustryGamers. “You can use the same code base that you currently use for PS3 or 360 or even the Wii in order to get a motion controller game out. You can’t do that with Natal.”
So far the revealed line-up for the PS3 motion controller include LittleBigPlanet, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, a rumored Heavy Rain and more yet to be announced.
