Bungie refuses to deny new IP for PS3

Bungie is working on a new IP, one which we’re assuming will release on Xbox 360. However, when asked if they’re bringing the new IP to PlayStation 3, Bungie refused to deny anything.

Since Bungie and Microsoft went separate ways in 2007, Bungie is free to develop for any platform it desires, whether it be Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or even Wii. According to Bungie community boss Brian Jarrad, the decision to put the new IP on PlayStation 3 was “undefined right now”.

“I mean, I think our whole future’s kind of undefined right now and it’s definitely not something we’re going to be comfortable getting into too much detail about.

“We’ve had another team internally [other than those making Reach] for quite a while now – they’ve been working on the genesis of what will become our next big thing.

“It’s a little premature to get into specifics, but you know I think we have a really good mix of old blood and new blood in the studio.”
