Microsoft: Fable III due Holiday 2010; Halo: Reach “THE biggest title of 2010”

Microsoft has revealed that Fable III will ship this holiday season. This information comes from the same press release that Microsoft released last night after their CES conference.

“2010 will deliver our biggest line-up ever of exclusive blockbuster releases. Kicking off the first-half of the year with back-to-back Xbox 360 exclusives like Splinter Cell Conviction, Crackdown 2, Mass Effect 2, and Alan Wake. And the first content packs for ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ from Activision will be available this Spring, exclusively first on Xbox 360.

“Our holiday line-up of games includes the highly anticipated Fable 3, followed by Halo Reach, which is expected to be THE biggest title of 2010.”

This isn’t the only time Microsoft has claimed Halo: Reach to be 2010’s all-star. In early December, Microsoft product management director Aaron Greenberg said in an interview that “Halo: Reach will be the biggest game of 2010.”

We’ll see come release day. There’s a lot coming out this year.
