After rumor upon rumor, Sega has officially announced an HD After Burner Climax re-release for the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade based off the 2006 arcade title.
Launching this Spring (in Japan, at least) After Burner Climax will allow players color customization of your jet, the ability to use music from After Burner II, and unlockable “EX Options.” These options will allow players to do things like turn on auto lock-on, make yourself invincible, have unlimited “Climax Mode” (think bullet time), and more.
After Burner Climax launches on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade in Japan this Spring for 900 yen/800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD).
