The Video Game Awards land tomorrow night. While we’ve already heard a lot about the brand new games that will be shown, including games like Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and TRON, SpikeTV host Geoff Keighley says that there’s still more unannounced surprises to be seen.
“We definitely have some pretty major surprises still to come,” Keighley told Destructoid. “Essentially, the biggest thing in the show hasn’t even been announced yet.”
This year, the show will have changing environments after every commercial break. The stage environment being done all done digitally allows for this constant transition.
“We’re going to keep some of the environments secret,” Keighley tells me, “but you’ll definitely get to see that we’ll be transforming a lot of worlds, even some games worlds, as well. We’re working with some game publishers to actually create some of the very cool content.”
Sounds futuristic. We’re looking forward to it.
Look out for the Video Game Awards tomorrow night on SpikeTV at 8:00 PM EST.
