During Electronic Arts‘ Q2 conference call this morning, EA Games label president Frank Gibeau revealed EA’s plans to bring back the Medal of Honor franchise as well as other “core IP”
“In the months ahead, you’ll hear more about our plans to revitalize core IP, including the Medal of Honor franchise,” Gibeau said.
As of yet, the Medal of Honor franchise has only seen one game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, being Medal of Honor: Airborne. While it wasn’t horrible, it wasn’t great either. A reboot would be most necessary.
