Rumor: First details on Visceral’s Jack the Ripper game

Yesterday morning, we brought you knowledge that EA’s Visceral Studios is working on a game based off the 19th century serial killer, Jack the Ripper. This morning, the first (rumored) details arrive.

Normally when you think of any serial killer, you’d think of a psychopathic murderer killing just because he’s that sick. However, EA’s bringing Jack out in a different light. In his game, Jack the Ripper’s a good man, killing to save others’ lives.

Demons and monsters alike will be present in Jack’s game, where he’s protecting people from their evil. Jack will have his own arsenal of weapons in order to take these monsters down as well as an ability to slow down time, as well.

It’s weird and unexpected. I figured the game would involve playing as a detective, but this is Visceral we’re talking about. You know they have to cook up some action-packed game.
