Netflix’s new device deal hints at PS3 streaming

Xbox 360 owners are already getting all the joy out of Netflix that they could want, however, PlayStation 3 owners on the other side are left empty handed. That may change soon enough, as Netflix celebrates a recent stock jump late Thursday by telling us that their streaming service will soon be available through “a device already owned by a large number of consumers.”

Netflix predicts this new deal will bring in “900,000 to 1.2 million more customers in the fourth quarter.” Their Xbox 360 deal has already added 2.4 million subscribers. That means his has to be a big device.

Is the PlayStation 3 next?
