EA Sports has announced a new Madden game this morning for those looking to pick up and play, but not spend a full sixty bucks on all those extra features. Madden NFL Arcade is the latest in football PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade titles and promises 5-on-5 football games with a “unique art style” arriving this holiday season.
Thirty-two NFL football teams will be included in the game as well as arcade style gameplay for an intense football experience. That means no penalties, no field goals and sixty yards of green to run. First team to reach 30 points wins. Also included are “Game Changers”, which seem to be remniscent of “Game Breakers” from the NFL Street franchise, promising to “break the game wide open on a single play.”
