Ueda: Team ICO Collection meeting due next week

Fumito Ueda, the man behind The Last Guardian on PS3, has revealed to Kotaku that a meeting will be held next week in order to discuss the possibility of a ICO/Shadow of the Colossus Collection with Sony.

Ueda has said previously that he’s interested in doing a collection, but has not taken any action. This meeting could bring the collection to reality.

“I do have an interest in that. Next week, I’ll have a meeting [about the possibility] … But it might not be so easy, because, with both titles we really stretched the limits of the PS2. It’s complex. So it’s not such an easy transfer to the PS3. But I want to discuss it.”

Let’s hope Ueda pushes it so people who haven’t gotten a chance to play the two games can give it a shot in HD.
