Creating Rorona in 3D Dot Game Heroes

3D Dot Game Heroes features a custom character creator. We know this. What we can do with it is endless, it seems. Japanese gaming blog Babarageo headed over to FromSoftware to test out the character creation system with intentions of building Rorona from NIS‘ PlayStation 3 RPG, Atelier Rorona.

Their results were rather on point, if Rorona were to be transformed into 3D pixels, that is.

What’s interesting about character creation is not only that you can create anything you want, but if you want to share it, you can export the character onto whatever form of portable memory (USB stick, Memory Stick Pro Duo) and extract it onto another PlayaStation 3.

Also revealed are four different view modes for the action RPG, featuring none other than Rorona as the demonstrator.

Finally, a 720p shot! However, it does look a bit narrow height-wise, even though it is in the proper resolution.

Look out for 3D Dot Game Heroes as it hits Japan this November.
