PlayStation 3 Slim Model Announced, Available September

Kaz Hirai has took the stage during GamesCom 2009 to announce, their worst kept rumor, the PlayStation 3 slim. The slim model will feature a 120GB hard-drive, weigh in 36 percent lighter and 33 percent smaller consuming 34 percent less power, and go for $299.

Starting tomorrow, the PlayStation 3 will sell for $299, however, the slim will launch in early September.
