Eight Days media leak displays far-along development

If you recall in June 2008, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that production on Eight Days (as well as The Getaway 3) would be ceased in order to work on other titles. Over a year later, new media has come out the game, including an explosion video and a few screenshots revealed celebrity talents Ving Rhames, Gary Oldman and Dennis Hopper were all involved in production of the game.

The game looks like it was pretty deep into production. I wonder why Sony would cancel such a good looking game.
