Ken Levine, lead designer on the first BioShock, is not involved with the upcoming BioShock 2. He’s hard at work with his team on another project, a project he claims is “more ambitious” than BioShock.
Ken Levine told Gamasutra, “And when we thought about the shipping date of the project… We needed a certain kind of length for the title, because we had a scope and ambition in mind which is more ambitious than anything we’ve ever done.”
"Even more, substantially more ambitious than BioShock," he continued. "And we knew that was not going to happen overnight."
BioShock was a pretty ambitious title. So if this new game is more ambitious, it must be one big project Levine and his team are working on. Look forward to it.
