Aksys Bringing Agarest War to North America

Some odd news has come in tonight. Aksys Games, better known as the publishers of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and Battle Fantasia, have launched a new teaser site for Record of Agarest War. The strategy RPG was originally released in Japan in 2007, mainly known for it’s “Soul Breed” system which allowed players to create new characters by pursuing a relationship with a female character.

Aksys have yet to formally announce the game’s localization, however, considering there’s a PlayStation Network logo on the page rather than a PlayStation 3 logo, we’re guessing this is going to be a downloadable.

The game’s already received a sequel in Japan titled Record of Agarest War ZERO.
