Bethesda’s hard at work on bringing the former exclusive Xbox 360 downloadable content to the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3. They’ve stated today, via Eurogamer, that they’re putting the “finishing touches” on ‘Operation: Anchorage’ for PlayStation 3.
Pete Hines, chief spokesperson at Bethesda, stated that bringing the content to the PlayStation 3 takes quite some effort.
“We are trying to put the finishing touches on it now, but as I said above it’s a different task than DLC on another platform, and so there are things we have to finish doing and testing before it’s done on PS3.”
Let’s hope the testing is done correctly this time around, since ‘Operation: Anchorage’, ‘The Pitt’ and ‘Broken Steel’ all arrived on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace with technicalities and issues that needed fixing.
Regarding the upcoming ‘Mothership Zeta’ downloadable content, Hines says we should have a date soon.
“Haven‘t set a final date yet,” said Hines, “[but] should have one before too long.”
As for what’s in store in this content, “Alien abduction done really, really well. What more do you need to know?”
