Persona PS3 Announcement Bound for E3?

Take this one with a grain of salt, but by God we’re hoping it’s true. A new set of rumors from “inside sources” regarding what will be shown at E3 2009 has arrived on Crious Gamer, with some not so out of the ordinary claims making them to be quite believable.

Amongst the rumors, including EA announcing a new SSX, Eidos revealing the next Hitman, and Ubisoft showing first gameplay of Assassin’s Creed II and I Am Alive, is a more interesting one. Well, perhaps more interesting for me and RPG fans alike, which claims that a game in the Persona series will be announced for the PlayStation 3.

This wouldn’t be too hard to believe since one of the originally announced 102 PlayStation 3 games before the console released was a Shin Megami Tensei game. On top of that, Sony needs more RPGs on their console and they know and are probably addressing it. It’s up to E3 to reveal all now.
