DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero Van Halen Announced

Activision has announced today that their Fall 2009 lineup will include new titles DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero: Van Halen and Band Hero.

Activision has revealed the controller for DJ Hero, featuring three colored buttons, setting the stage to turn players into world-class DJs. You can get a first glimpse of the controller at the gallery.

Meanwhile, Guitar Hero 5 will add the new ability to drop-in and drop-out at anytime while playing a song as well as the ability to change instruments and difficulty level faster than ever. Band Hero is a family game, rated E10+, that will deliver the top-40 hits for the family to enjoy.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen is due to release in “the second half of this year”, including Van Halen’s best hits as well as the likes of Queen, Weezer, blink-182, The Offspring and Queens of the Stone Age. Read on for the presser.
