Even though Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is basically a direct port with added features such as the no unlocks and online play, that doesn’t mean Capcom won’t boost the graphics even a little bit. While not as comprehensive as Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 boasts three styles to play the game in: Crisp, Smooth, and Classic.
You’ll see the comparison above. Classic has no filtering and contains the same sprite as it did when you first played the game. Smooth features 2X Bilinear filtering but with some tweaks made for the game, and Crisp features 3X Bilinear filtering, but it was also tweaked heavily for the game.
You can check out 1080p comparisons of each style in our gallery.
So now I can talk about the game….IT’S MAHVEL BABY! [Capcom-Unity]
