Valkyria Chronicles Getting Three DLC Packs

Sega‘s Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best SRPGs on the PlayStation 3 and probably of the best games on the system. Today, Sega announced downloadable content to further extend that greatness. Three downloadable content packs are on the way to the US PlayStation Store.

The first pack is called Hard EX Mode, adding on a harder difficulty so you can test your skills against tougher enemies in another playthrough, minus the assistance of Edelweiss.

The second pack is a mission for Edy titled “Enter the Edy Detachment”, which will allow you to play as Edy in attempt to save a small village from Imperial forces — after being separated from the rest of your squad.

The third pack is a mission for Selvaria titled “Behind Her Blue Flame”, whhich places players in control of an imperial engineer named Johann assigned to Selvaria’s trorop.

Sega has yet to announce a release date or pricing.
