Katamari Damacy Creator “Not Involved” in PS3 Version

Namco Bandai has confirmed that Katamari Damacy series creator, Keita Takahashi, is “not involved” in the production of the upcoming PlayStation 3 title, Katamari Damacy Tribute.

Katamari Damacy Tribute, dubbed as Katamari Forever in the US, was announced in last week’s Famitsu issue. It will launch on the PlayStation 3 this year as a 1080p version of the PlayStation 2 game.

Namco Bandai assures us that the game is “in good hands” despite Takahashi’s dispresence on the title.
