GDC ’09: First Alpha Footage of Mass Effect 2

The first gameplay of Mass Effect 2 went on display at the “Iterative Level Design Process of Bioware’s Mass Effect 2” panel at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco tonight. Along with the first gameplay, we get a look at one of the cut-scenes in the game as well.

The only downside to this footage is that it is all still in its alpha stages so you’re not seeing anything groundbreaking at the moment. It’s still worth the watch though. Read on for the video.
