Rumor: Final Fantasy IV Heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade

Square Enix is bringing Crystal Defenders and Yosumin to the Xbox LIVE Arcade, we already know that, however it appears that Square Enix is bringing another title to the land of downloadable content.

A new link for “finalfantasy4” has surfaced on Xbox.com Japan. Clicking the link brings you to an error page, however, Microsoft’s server appends a “details.page/” whereas a link such as “finalfantasy5/” does not, meaning it is registered on their site for some reason.

So comes the rumor. This leads to Square Enix’s recently released mobile RPG, Final Fantasy IV: The After, a direct sequel to Final Fantasy IV. We know Square Enix plans to release more games on the Xbox LIVE Arcade from their statement: “Beginning with these two games, Square Enix plans to release a steady stream of its popular titles — as well as original content — on Xbox LIVE Arcade”.
