Valve to Announce Left 4 Dead DLC “Very Soon”

In a podcast with Kotaku, Valve writer Chet Faliszek has stated that the first downloadable content for Left 4 Dead will be available “shortly” and “before Christmas”. However, the podcast, recorded on December 15th, seems to already confirm a delay, in traditional Valve style.

However, Faliszek confirmed that the content will hit both the Xbox 360 and PC at the same time instead of hitting the Xbox 360 later, such as Team Fortress 2. Also, he confirmed that new scenarioes will be present, as “what we want to do is just deliver more content you can play at this point.” It will also bring Versus support to the Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns.

So now that this announcement is past due, we’ll have to wait. Xbox 360 gamers, expect to be charged.
