Former Crackdown Developers Form Ruffian Games, Crackdown 2 Possibly In The Works
A new studio in Dundee, Scotland was formed today calling themselves Ruffian Games, consisting of key developers from Crackdown at RealTime Worlds, including lead designer Billy Thomson. A recent issue of Game Informer stated that a Crackdown sequel is in the works.
“The first title was developed by RealTime Worlds, but the company is currently working on APB and not Crackdown 2. The sequel is in production with a different development team.”
Could that different developer be Ruffian? Microsoft also added to the fire earlier this month saying “That’s all I’m going to say, so you don’t have to confirm for deny anything. I’m just saying we want it.â€
We’ll just wait for official confirmation. It’s pretty much a given.
