Upcoming Avatar Clothing Theme Packs to Be Free

Microsoft has already announced that they will be releasing theme packs for the next six months for our Avatar’s clothing. Many feared that we’d have to use our precious Microsoft Points to make our Avatar unique, but fear not, because the theme packs will be free and released in the next few weeks.

Xbox Germany product manager Boris Schneider Johne has confirmed:

“More costumes will be made available for free in the next weeks. What’s going to happen as of spring is yet to be announced. If you spot Avatars that wear clothes not yet available in the Avatar Editor, those belong to beta testers who were allowed to test ALL the new clothes beforehand (for instance my chic Xbox Jersey).”

I was hoping we’d be able to earn them threw achievements for games, such as if you get a certain amount of achievements in Fallout 3, you’d unlock the Vault uniform or the Tunnel Snakes outfit. This is good too, I guess.
