How Far Has The PS2 Naruto Evolved To The PS3?
The secret to Naruto looking so good on CyberConnect 2’s recently released Naruto: Ultimate Ninja STORM for the PlayStation 3 is the number of polygons the developer used to create the character. They did a fantastic job, dropping the difference between the anime and video game. They’ve used over four times the amount of polygons on the PlayStation 3 Naruto in comparison to the PS2 Naruto.
Naruto on the PS2 uses a mere 3,723 polygons, whilst the PlayStation 3 Naruto in Ultimate Ninja STORM uses 16,927 polygons. Just Naruto’s head alone on the PlayStation 3 is compiled of more polygons than the complete body of Naruto PS2. Amazing, wouldn’t you say?
