White Knight Chronicles will run in native 1080p

The latest issue of Dengeki magazine revealed new information on Level-5‘s upcoming PlayStation 3 RPG White Knight Chronicles, currently scheduled for December 25th, 2008 in Japan.

The game will be the first role-playing game to run at a native 1080p resolution. The storyline quality will be on par with that of the Dragon Quest series, according to Level-5; the image quality is approaching that of Final Fantasy; and the aspects are reminiscent of Monster Hunter.

We can’t wait to see what this looks like running in full high-def.
