Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm: Modes, Customization, and More
There will be two main modes in the game – “Ultimate Mission Mode” and “Free Battle Mode”. Ultimate Mission Mode is the game’s story mode, including over 100 different missions to complete while roaming freely through the Hidden Leaf Village.
Free Battle Mode is like what we’ve played in the demo. You’ll be able to face off with any of the 25 characters on any stage. The stages include some of the most exciting pieces of episodes 1-135.
You’ll be able unlock more support characters and eventually customize which support characters you’ll take into battle. The number of support characters is kept secret as of now, however. You’ll also be able to choose what music and what items you bring into the fight.
You can bring one primary jutsu and Ultimate Jutsu into battle. Some characters, however, gain different jutsu and Ultimate Jutsu when they enter their awakening mode, so their entire moveset will change in that mode.
The development of the game, which was nearly two years, has been eyed by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto to make sure the game is up to standards with the show.
The game is currently getting it’s finishing touches and should be making it out later this year.
