PLAYSTATION 3 Firmware v2.40 Features List
Trophy support will be in the update. There will be four types of trophies: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. You can only get Platinum trophies when you have colected all other trophies in a game. The gamer point system is like a levelling up system.
Firmware v2.40 should launch in about three weeks’s time. CVG have put together a list of in-game XMB features that are available.

What is cool about the in-game music is that when you stop playing your custom tracks, the playback of the game music will begin. So there is no interruption. CVG got this all from an inside source, so as of now it is still unofficial if this is all.
