No Man’s Sky will no longer make its previously planned June 21 release dates, sources of Kotaku have said. The game has reportedly been delayed until at least July or August.
One of Kotaku’s sources is a GameStop employee who received marketing materials today for No Man’s Sky with the original June 21 release date. However, the store was informed by corporate the the release date was no longer correct and that it should be covered with a “Coming Soon” label.
The notification reads: “The release date for No Man’s Sky has changed since the provided posters were printed. Please use a coming soon pop-on to cover up the date and communicate as needed your guest about the change of release.”
No Man’s Sky will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC.
