Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has opened its official PlayStation 20th anniversary website.
Additionally, the PlayStation manufacturer has set the date for this year’s PlayStation Awards, an annual ceremony held to honor Japan’s top-selling PlayStation games. It will take place on December 3 and be live streamed via YouTube. Voting for the “User Choice Prize” will begin next Wednesday, October 29. See last year’s winners here.
On its 20th anniversary site, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia president Atsushi Morita shared the following message:
To thank everyone for 20 years with us and to celebrate what comes next, we’re preparing a special PlayStation 20th Anniversary project at this year’s PlayStation Awards. I hope we can all enjoy it together.
It sounds like there are all sorts of things PlayStation happening in December. On the U.S. side of things, a December 6 and 7 event called PlayStation Experience has already been announced.
