PS Vita slim coming to U.S with Borderlands 2 bundle
Sony confirms dates for some upcoming PS Vita games.The PS Vita slim model (PCH-2000 series) is coming to North America this spring for $199.99 via a Borderlands 2 bundle, Sony Computer Entertainment America announced.
The bunlde will incldue a PS Vita slim, a copy of Borderlands 2 with all six add-on DLC packs, and an eight gigabyte memory card.
The slim model is 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than the original PS Vita and uses an LCD display rather than an OLED. It first launched in Japan late last year, and debuted in the United Kingdom on Friday.
Borderlands 2 will feature cross-save compatibility with the PlayStation 3 version. The PS Vita game includeds all six downloadable content packs, including: ‘Captain Scarlett’ and ‘Her Pirate’s Booty,’ ‘Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage,’ ‘Psycho Character Class,’ ‘Mechromancer Character Class,’ ‘Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1’ and the ‘Collector’s Edition Pack.’
Outside of the slim announcement, Sony also confirmed a few PS Vita release dates. The God of War Collection, which includes the first two God of War games, will launch on May 6. The Sly Cooper Collection, which includes the first three Sly Cooper games, will launch on May 27. No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! is coming this spring. And finally, Invizimals and Murasaki Baby can be considered confirmed for release in North America.
