Final Fantasy Agito announced for smartphones
posted on 09.11.13 at 12:47 AM EDT by (@salromano)
It's Final Fantasy Type-0 for iOS and Android.

(Full details have since been released. Read our summary post here.)

Final Fantasy Agito is coming to iOS and Android in Japan this winter, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals. The basic version will be a free download.

Before Final Fantasy Type-0 on PSP became Type-0, it was known as Final Fantasy Agito XIII for mobile phones. Final Fantasy Agito for iOS, produced by Hajime Tabata, restarts the ambitions of the mobile phone game by bringing back the original story in a game based in the Type-0 world outlook and part of the ‘Fabula Nova Crystallis’ series. It tells the story of the history of the first round.

A Famitsu scan shows a new character named Myuu Kagerohi (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu), as well as Ace, Rem, and Jack, who is seen wearing glasses.

Expect more information at next week’s Tokyo Game Show.

    Fuck You SE

Where’s the PS Vita version Damn It.

    • Budgiecat

They are so stupid. Every other company in Japan is noticing the shift in interest to the Vita. Less expensive model, PSP games on the decline in distribution (companies jumping over to the Vita), PS3 & PS4 cross play, and now SCEJ dropped a bomb at their last press conference with PSVitaTV, why the hell would anyone want a dumbed down microtransaction version over a superior Vita version that we could play on our consoles at home as well with a dual shock??

Get bent S-E. You damn tools…

  • Zackasaur

Wtf? I want to know more about this.

And I’m still insanely mad about not getting Type-0. Of everything that has happened in gaming, that is the single most offensive to me.

  • DesmaX

    • KiQun

It’s the same old SE. The story is getting old.

  • Panda

I hope this gets ported to vita later on.

    • Guest

      That’s all anybody wants.

Hell, we’d love just getting the PSP version. :/

Just give us a non-mobile version of the game, SE. It shouldn’t be this hard for us to give you money.

  • LennoG

lol, and I thought SE wouldn’t disappoint me any more than now.

  • King-Podigy-X

I have a rant to make.

This company is getting stupid each year. I don’t understand why they can’t just release this game on PS Vita since everybody has been asking for it. But no they just don’t want to do it because all they care about is android and ios. I don’t even care about it coming to mobile phones. I just want play the damn game on my damn PS Vita for Christ sake. Like have they just been ignoring the petitions and people begging over Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to bring the game to the PSN or PS Vita to the west. I square this company won’t last long if they keep upsetting their fans this way. I’ve been waiting for this game since it was announced for PSP. This is just disgusting the way their treating Americans and Europeans who was hoping this game would come to the PS Vita or PSN by now and they wonder why they have financial problems.

After FF XV and KH III, I’m not buying anymore games from this company.

So the people disagreeing don’t want the game to come to PS Vita. Something wrong with yall.

    • Zackasaur

I agree with your thoughts on Type-0, but refusing to buy good games after FFXV and KHIII is a silly position.

It just makes SE think we want more mobile games if you stop buying the good stuff.

      • King-Podigy-X

No they made me wait for Versus ever since it was announced at E3 2006. God knows how long they’ll take with KH III. I’m just tired of them take their time to make decision only to be disappointed in the end. I’m pretty sure after FF XV & KH III there will be more good games but if they keep making more stupid decisions like this. Then I can’t seem to keep supporting a company like this.

It’s good when a company doesn’t rush to make a game but my God this company takes to long to do the right things and decision makings.

        • Zackasaur

Taking their time with good games is fine. They should be able to take the time they need to make amazing products. FFXV and KHIII will be amazing. That I can promise.

Whereas, stuff like not localising Type-0? That’s bullshit. I wouldn’t care of Type-0 took a decade to make. But I do care that they have refused to release it in the west.

          • King-Podigy-X

Maybe I should reiterate, I’m not mad that its coming to mobile phones or how long they take to make the game. I’m mad at their decision making and how long they take to make the decisions.

            • Zackasaur

I’m mad at the decision not to localise Type-0.

I don’t care that there is a mobile version. I’m happy to wait for quality games like FFXV and KHIII. I think their new western enhancements of Eidos are great. I’m totally cool with them making stuff like Theatrhythm. I don’t mind all the other mobile games they make. I think FFXIII is really good.

I have one major issue with Square Enix. One. Really, just one.

Type-0. Why the -hell- do we not have this game yet? It’s utterly absurd.

              • King-Podigy-X

If they don’t at least say something at TGS about it not being on PS Vita, then I give up hoping but if they come out of know where and announce FF Type 0-2 at TGS for PS Vita then I’m going to create a Japan account on my PS Vita just in case they refuse to bring it to the west.

      • Budgiecat

They are out of tune and totally disconnected with their fan base…total lack of communication and awareness…aside from FF XIV it seems..(because they need to be due to the clusterfuck it initially was) Their own pretentiousness and arrogance and lack of common sense will be their downfall..

  • surakian

I’m kind of excited for this, especially if it plays like a visual novel. Tabata started at SE as a mobile game developer and Type-0’s roots were in mobile to begin with. I remember hearing that Before Crisis was ridiculously fun, and coded’s various gameplay styles were fun. As long as it isn’t a social game, I am good.

I’d be even better if they localized this, and even more pleased if this lead into a rerelease of Type-0 worldwide.

    • Budgiecat

Moderator – Be respectful to others. Thanks

      • TetsuyaHikari

        Hory sheet

        • Budgiecat

Wait that was probably too mean. Tetsuya! go catch him!

*throws TetsuyaHikari off cliff in hopes he catches surakian*

          • TetsuyaHikari

Pfft. You couldn’t throw me anywhere. You don’t lift, bro.

      • surakian

No thanks, I’d like to continue playing my Japanese copy of Type-0 a bit longer.

  • Vinnyhawj

    Wanted a vita version.*sigh*

    • MrFinalgamer

      we all did…we all did

      • Heisst

        I wanted a PC version.

        • jujubee88

lol For some reason I imagined that as the voice in the back of the room from the simpsons. (It would usually sound like homer’s or moe’s voice actor, but softer and a lot more unsure)

  • syaznifaiq

shoulda seen this one coming …

  • Sevyne

Oh yeah Square Enix? I hear there’s a market for this in Hell. How about you go there?

    • jujubee88

      Army Corps of Hello?

….”Hello” was typo but I’ll leave it in.

  • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

    Screw you Square

  • MrRobbyM

Yet again I am reminded of the game we could have easily gotten and enjoyed, but never did.

You still live somewhere in my heart, Type-0 localization.

    • Zackasaur

  • Olivia Slayton

Agito was and apparently still is a mobile game. Nothing to be surprised or upset about you guys, geez.

    • Zackasaur

People are upset that they have still refused to localise Type-0.

Making an inferior mobile version is fine. Whatever.

But they need to localise the game for the west on some proper platform.

      • Olivia Slayton

They don’t have to do anything to pleased NA fans, it’s not their base anyways. I’m glad they are releasing Agito, what it was announced looked like more fun that what Type-0 became. Not that Type-0 wasn’t good, I’m just saying I’m glad this game wasn’t abandoned.

        • Zackasaur

Type-0 is definitely way better than what Agito was going to be.

And I don’t care what they “have” to do. They don’t “have” to make games. But they do have to make games to stay afloat as a company. And Final Fantasy is an enormous franchise in the west. The game would profit, the devs would get what they deserve, and the fans would be pleased.

It’s completely outrageous that this has not already been localised.

          • Olivia Slayton

Not really. No one is localizing a PSP game. Maybe it’ll be ported but knowing SE they’d want to rehaul it and update the graphics and make a special edition Vita, the whole nine yards.

And then if it was localized, it’d still sell poorly by comparison in NA.

            • Elvick

Aksys released a retail PSP game this year. Natsume and Xseed localize PSP games still (digital only).

So… “no one” is a outright lie.

And when Type-0 came out, had SE actually got their shit together and push the localization out in a timely manner. It wouldn’t have been an issue at all. But they dragged their feet so they could use it as an excuse not to.

And most just want a port to PS Vita, so it can use the dual analog for camera control and be a better game overall. And that would be a system seller for the west. As we never got the game.

        • Budgiecat

lol what do you mean its not their base dont be stupid to think for a second S-E is content with Japanese only sales are you friggin kidding me…they’ve been on a global push ever since the success of FF VII…

Its just they got shit for brains corporate management. If I was a S-E stockholder, I’d have probably paid a few Yakuza to scare the sense back into some of their execs….

          • Olivia Slayton

That’s why they continue to make mobile games… Because those are successful in Japan, it makes them money.

FF hasn’t had a good rep in NA since FFX. They don’t appeal to NA audiences the same way they do in Japan. It just sounds like a bunch of bitchin about the way the world works to me.

            • Budgiecat

uh FF XIII & XIII-2 sold more in the West than it did in Japan…

mobile phone games are a scam plague dont support this shit…now it’s business practices are seeping into our console games…ugh

            • Zero

I think you make some good points, Olivia. I think fans in the west forget that the Japanese consumer is the main focus. Especially with mobile games.

I suppose everyone is just upset about the lack of localization. It’s understandable, but some of these replies seem a bit harsh.

What else can I say? Tough Crowd.

              • Jay

SE is running a business, so money is really their main focus. You heard their reaction to the sales of Tomb Raider and such. So it’s not a tough crowd, it’s people with common sense.

Squaresoft was a highly regarded giant, and now that it’s SE they’ve fallen greatly in the eyes of fans through continuous bad decisions. They’re sitting on a gold mine franchise, and what do they do? Release 3 FFXIII games, and take 7 years to release the game most people really want.

Sounds more like SE is being tough on us.

                • Zero

(Long post incoming. I’m going to try and clear things up a bit here. This also plays a part in my views and opinion of Square-Enix.)

They made some of the same mistakes other publishers do with Tomb Raider. It’s a growing problem in this industry. Poor money management, poor sales management, etc. Setting goals that are in most cases unrealistic.

I’m pretty sure Tomb Raider did hit those goals by now, just not as fast as the higher up’s would have hoped. It’s a shame, but everyone seems to think there next big project is going to move copies like Call of Duty or something. It’s a problem that will hopefully start to improve with the rise of indie games. Smaller projects with more realistic sales goals. You didn’t have to sell one million copies just to cover part of the production cost back in the day. etc.

You mentioned they are running a business, that’s correct. It explains the focus on the mobile market, which is blossoming in Japan, but also doing quite well world wide. They have also said that Final Fantasy XI is one of the most profitable projects ever at the company. You can link that success to monthly billings and small micro fee’s.

Since they can somewhat duplicate those models in the mobile market. Well, just put two and two together, it makes sense from a business standpoint.

Sure, the mobile focus doesn’t really please me. I’ve been a die hard fan of Square since my childhood. My favorite game of all time is Chrono Trigger. I know many other Square games would fill other slots in my top 10.

I know lots of folks seem to complain that Square went down a few notches after the merge. Sure, when you merge two big companies, things are going to be confusing for a while. They also were coming off spirits within, which flopped big time. It was a bumpy road.

In 2006 or so. They revealed to the world several projects in the new ‘Fabula Nova Crystallis’ series. Of course, they revealed them way too early, something they are notorious for doing. Well, since like early 2000’s. For the last 10 or more years in other words.

They had a new engine that was going to be great. It had some code name but they decided to call it Crystal Tools.

They pumped a ton of money and spent several years making this engine. That’s just how the process goes. They made a big mistake. They greatly underestimated the HD consoles, the hardware. This is something many at the company have said before.

In other words – Crystal Tools had problems. Many of these problems have been documented over and over again. You can play Final Fantasy 13 and see the engine problems. It has major issues with memory limitations, this crosses over into towns, characters on screen, performance issues, etc.

For the first time, or what was likely the first time for both Square and Enix. They were not ahead of the curve in terms of engines and hardware. Many Japanese developers struggled to play catch up, not just Square-Enix.

it hurt them, both companies dominated in the past. They were always ahead of things, and would put out new games that set new standards for performance and visuals. Not this time.

Then. The original launch of Final Fantasy XIV happened. I’m not going into many details. We all know it hurt the company and damaged the FF brand.

The next step they took was a tough one. Go back to the drawing board and create a new engine. They were not alone in this, for example, Kojima Productions also made this move after MGS 4.

Instead of just lying low during this process. The company had to make some profit, especially after XIV. They turned to portables because those were dominant and still are in Japan. Many other JP publishers also played it safe with portables.

And let’s not kid ourselves. Square-Enix has released some fine portable games since 2006. In fact, some of them sold millions of copies, and are loved by fans across the world.

I think fans tend to forget that. I understand, we don’t all enjoy portables. I’m way behind on my portable games, but what I’ve played from SE have been really great.

Meanwhile, things were pretty quiet for consoles. They did use the Eidos purchase and released some really great games. Sure, sales numbers were not handled well, but the games are very good. The Japanese branch didn’t release much, they did launch the cult classic – Nier.

What they did do was try and use Crystal Tools. They decided to try and make something out of it. Which is one of the major reasons 3 different Final Fantasy 13 games have been launched. The other is sales, fans, and reviews.

Not all the fans hate the series, the reviews for both have been respectable, and the sales have been good enough for SE.

They also can make some more cash off the flawed Crystal Tools engine before they finally scrap it. It was unable to run Final Fantasy 13 Versus, now Final Fantasy XV. This explains the delay, but the lack of information was stupid. Something I’ve criticized the company for.

Not all the decisions have been bad. Some of them even make sense when you look at the details. I’d love it if Square-Enix could start doing things like they did in the past. The landscape of video games is incredibly different now, it’s not that easy.

I think the company has turned a new leaf of sorts lately. They seem to be trying to listen to the fans more, communicate with them. This is a great thing! They still announce projects too early, but they have some great console games in development. They just released the vastly improved FFXIV. They saved the game!

Yes, they still haven’t localized Type 0. I think that sucks, too. I have hopes that one way or another, we will get to play it in the west. I just can’t ignore the good the company has done lately, and is trying to do now.

Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to explain my stance.

                  • Jay

Read your whole post, thanks for the well thought out response. I agree with the majority of it. I do think they should make mobile games to fund bigger projects, as long as they don’t neglect the big titles. The only reason I responded to you was because you seemed to blame consumers for being upset. SE gave plenty of reason, as you stated, and many customers aren’t happy about it. Nor should they be…

FFXV looks like the turn around point, but I’m not going to get my hopes up for what comes after just yet.

I think FFXIV ARR shows their willingness for change. I give them credit where it’s due, but I just ran out of the nostalgia needed to turn a blind eye to the continuous let downs.

                    • Zero

Thanks. I didn’t mean to blame consumer for being upset. I do think sometimes fans post knee-jerk reactions on things. It just seemed like people were trying to criticize Olivia for posting mostly truth. And like I mentioned, I do believe some of that was fueled by frustration. You know, not having Type 0 localized yet. Like I said above though, some of the replies seemed a bit harsh.

It’s one thing to be upset with a company as a consumer. It’s another thing to try and attack or dismiss someone for posting something truthful. Even if that truth is kinda disappointing.

My initial post was pointing trying to point that out I suppose.

I don’t want Square-Enix to neglect the bigger titles either. Not at all, that we agree on. I just look at some of the hate and feel it’s unjustified. It almost feels like Square-Enix is stuck in this catch 22 situation. What I mean is – No matter what they do, people seem to take things to extreme levels. Especially with the hate.

For example – It’s one thing to post about the delays, how they upset people, discuss frustrations in regards to localization. It’s something else to post stuff like – “I hope Square-Enix all dies!” etc.

What in the world did they do to deserve that? Especially with the recent positive stuff they have done/announced. They reveal some great stuff at e3, they launch FFXIV, KH HD remix, FFX HD coming to the west, etc. Then, a mobile phone title gets announced and none of that matters anymore? We should just hate them to the extreme now? That’s what I don’t understand.

                    • Budgiecat

Of course KH HD Remix & FF X HD would come to the West though, that’s a no brainer. KH HD Remix didn’t even sell that well in Japan tbh. Thats a series that does well in the West (Disney of course), which then makes me wonder why they don’t localize that Disney 3DS game. Besides, as good as those games were, they’re old games.

We’ve played the already. FF Type Zero is a game the majority of the West has not played (unless you imported and even then good luck understanding the story unless you understand Japanese), and while remasters of classic titles is nice and all, would it really have hurt if they were never done?

I can play KH, KH CoM and FF X/X-2 just fine on my HD TV. I can’t say the same for an HD PS3 version of FF Type Zero now can I…

                    • Zero

I also want to play type zero. You said it was obvious that KH and FFX HD would come over to the west. Would you not agree that a big factor in that is the platform? Both are coming out on PS3.

It’s the same reasons we can’t seem to get the Tales of Vita games localized. Most JP companies consider the PSP and Vita too risky in the west.

If it’s not from Atlus, or NIS, or X-Seed, the chances are slim. Nintendo plays a big role in bringing over games for the DS/3DS. I’m sorta hoping Sony might start doing that with the Vita/PSP.

Still. The best chance is some kind of Type-Zero HD port for the PS3.

                    • Jay

I see.. You’re trying to use logic on the internet.

That was your first mistake lol :D

                  • Budgiecat

Good post but halfway through you reminded me of one thing:

The difference between Squaresoft and Square-Enix was that instead of relying on Eidos for other titles. Squaresoft actually had a diverse game library. Now it’s mostly FF, KH & DQ and look how long it takes to make FF games and a console KH sequel and look how many DQ games get ignored lately for localization.
When Square was great and renowned in the 90’s it wasn’t just because of FF. Maybe if S-E paid attention to their library of great titles they’ve abandoned and try to be as diverse as they used to be instead of putting all their eggs in one 5 to 8 year long basket, then they could fare better

                    • Zero

I’m hoping they can better diversify this generation. It just depends on the money, sadly. The landscape of video games has changed, in some ways I hate it.

It’s deemed too risky to try and put money into non sequels or lesser known IP’s these days.

I’d like to see Square-Enix, along with other JP studios, consider bringing back some classics on a more indie level. They can still be really good, but just not cost so much to make, and not require so much to be deemed successful. The challenge is getting them to release such games on non mobile or portable platforms.

              • Budgiecat

When it comes to mobile games I wouldn’t say that. There’s double the population of Japan in the states alone and then you have Europe, and out of that population, how many do you think use smart phones? Quite a bit more than the majority of smartphone users in Japan. To think that S-E doesn’t have or want globalization in their minds is kinda silly. Besides, look at all the localized S-E mobile phone games on iOS and Android and it really disproves that theory anyway…

It’s quite simple; they see mobile phones (globally, not just Japan) as a quicker steadier source of income (hence the microtranactions with the ease of ‘free to play’ gimmick) than the Vita or PS3, which might be the case, but overall, it alienates and pisses off their core fanbase and reputation which might in the end hurt them overall

                • Zero

I get your point. I posted below. We can’t forget they have to make some money. With the growth of mobile phone games not only in Japan but worldwide, it makes a lot of sense to turn to them as a safety net of sorts. They, along with lots of other JP studios, did the same thing with portable games.

The difference is this. We don’t see a big social media gaming company taking over e3 and such. Not yet at least. Most social media gaming in Japan is huge on smart phones. Which is why companies like GREE have a huge influence at TGS and such now. Lots of times, they have the largest booth. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a bigger booth than Square-Enix at TGS.

I think that ties into the points Olivia was making about mobile game success in Japan. I called it blossoming in my other post. It’s something that most JP companies just can’t ignore.

If fans look at all the details. They should understand why this is happening. We should be happy that with good mobile funds, they can green-light more risky projects, or help fund bigger projects like Final Fantasy XV.

  • Guest

……You know SE, I usually try to side with you, again I loved your stuff even after Sakaguchi went off to become Mistwalker, So had FFXV remained FFversusXIII or just in development hell or had you not hastily announced KH3, I would’ve been so much more angrier.

    But….just….WHY!? JUST…..FUCKING *WHYYYYYY!!?!?!?!?*

You could’ve just made this an easy Vita port, A fucking PSP PORT. for the Goddamn VITA. I mean yeah it’s not exactly selling well, but YOU GUYS COULD’VE DONE THIS FOR THE NEW VITA MODEL *EASILY.*

The Vita is lacking in a games, why? Because I believed that Square Enix behind it could’ve made it that much better. Besides FF10/10-2 HD whatever the hell it’s called.

But an iOS port? If that’s just Japan-only then you REALLY are being dicks with this. Fuck you now for this and fuck you then for making me think there was a TWEWY sequel

AND DIDN’T YOU GUYS SAY IN YOUR GODDAMN TYPE-0 ULTIMANIA THAT YOU PEOPLE *HAD* FINISHED THE FUCKING LOCALIZATION?!?!? Am I just on fucking crazy pills and dreamt that up?!!? Please, SOMEONE remind me about those articles earlier that I saw on Gematsu, PLEASE.

Had you had made this a Vita version, I would’ve gladly bought a set in a heartbeat complete with Vita Type-0,

    Sorry about the long rant…
I’m beginning to understand how Noah Antwiler feels a little…

      …..So. ummmm….

I just heard This is actually just a side story/prequel sort of thing for type-0…………………

Great. Now I just feel like a dick and got pissed over nothing.

    • awaiken

this is a prequel, clam the fuck down

      • King-Podigy-X

They didn’t know because there was mis-translation.

  • 罪罰

    • Zackasaur

      *slams face into desk*

      • TheBlackRabbit

        • Zackasaur

          *sigh* Okay, okay…

          ┬─┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ)

  • PrinceHeir

  • Zackasaur

  • maruhadapurpurine

The only good thing about Square is Nomura, if he were to quit, Square would have nothing good left about them.

    • King-Podigy-X

      You forget Eidos though.

    • KiQun

I long for another Hiroyuki Ito’s work.

    • awaiken

There’s about 5 other guys over there better than Nomura. You should do more research and understand who are their key talent lest you look inept.

      • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

Maybe you should look at what Nomura has done -_-

        • Raiu

It’s not like Nomura is working on two of the most highly anticipated games right now….. Oh wait….

(Sorry KingKellogg, wrong reply box…. )

          • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

            I dont mind :D

Please, Sheer Heart Attack the fucker who thought it was great idea to not port this over to a Vita but instead to iOS.

    • LennoG

Here, take my pitchfork with you! (*`ー´)–∈

  • TetsuyaHikari

This is pretty much Square-Enix with Final Fantasy Agito, lol.

    • TheBlackRabbit

lol it all makes sense now.

  • luistovar

In my opinion, Type-0 is better than the two Lightning games combined, so I really wanted more of it. But… ugh. It could’ve been the PS Vita, but this is Square Enix, so they gotta come up with their stupid moves.

  • King-Podigy-X

    So apparently its not Type-0. It’s a prequel. There was a mis-translation.

Final Fantasy Agito announced for iOS and Android, is a prequel to FF Type-0

Got worked up for nothing. *hides face* Still want FF Type 0 PS Vita Port

    • Elvick

It’s still something that should be on gaming hardware. Not mobile.

    • Zackasaur

That makes me feel a LITTLE better. But now I demand that they localise both Type-0 and Agito. >_>

  • Elvick

    Fuck this. Fuck SE.

    • awaiken

keep crying. What are you mad about?

      • Ritsujun

Poor anti-SQEX’s, they’re always crying and mad at something.

  • awaiken

Type-0 for Vita, make it happen Sony. I will buy a Vita as soon as you announce this

  • shogunknight

W-w-w-why? not even 3ds/vita? i think ill just assume FFXIV:ARR is the only next title to look forward to, dont know how much more disappointments i can take. Probably just stick with other devs like hideo baba instead.

  • carrebeannut

mobile phone again, hate this shit after hype abt new Deus ex, Fuck u SE Fuck u, this is why we must boycott mobile games from SE, maybe they can focus to console and not try to screw us anymore.

  • Azoz

    Nobody asked for this.

  • bloodiOS

First Breath of Fire 6 and now this… someone must’ve hacked the akashic record *SMH*

  • Ace0

A prequal? Interesting. I imported type-0 a while a go. Great game but super unbalanced. They should do an HD port to the PS3. That way, it’s possible for them to sell more copies than releaseing it on a PSP or Vita.

    • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

      I agree, ps4 not ps3 though

      • Ace0

        Why can’t it be both??

        • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

          better port if ps4

  • KingKellogg The Waffle Haggler

Even if its a prequal, jumping consoles to mobile, Screw you square, screw you !

  • Raiu

For those who have been following me when it comes to Square Enix…

Yep, not even surprised from all this…. As a matter of fact, I was expecting this….

  • Budgiecat
  • Willgaea

I guess they had a Typo with Type-0…. *zing*

  • Guest

See Guys i told you square enix love crash your dream,

95% people dont want FF Agito for iOS and……G.T.H Square enix

  • DreamDrop♥

I want to know who among you bitching has played Chaos Rings, Final Fantasy Dimensions, or DrakeRider.

    • Elvick

Chaos Rings isn’t developed by Square Enix. Not sure who develops the others.

And it would be better on handhelds or consoles anyway. Same applies to Dimensions, never heard of the other.

      • DreamDrop♥

that’s beside the point. The concept of “Terrible because iOS” is a bullshit argument which anyone who’s played the aforementioned games can attest to.

        • Elvick

Except they have flaws that exist because of the platform.

Terrible because of mobile is true for anything that isn’t developed for mobile. And no, console games shoved onto mobile is not developing for mobile.

          • DreamDrop♥

except those games still aren’t terrible. Flawed =! terrible, and it’s really dumb to judge a series before it’s come out.

  • Hidayat246

    Square Enix really hate vita

  • Jay

So they can work on games for iphone, but won’t make an Agito port for PS3 on PSN and let the US market have it? Does SE not like money or its customers?

  • MosquitoLemon

Here is my surprised face :
Can’t wait to see what people say when KH3 ends up as a docomo-exclusive mobage, hahahah.
