Now due in January 2013. PS3 version still out this month.

Sony has delayed the PS Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault from its expected November 27 release to January 2013.

The PlayStation 3 version of the game will still be available for purchase at retail and via PlayStation Network on November 27 for $19.99. Consumers of the PlayStation 3 version will also still receive a downloadable copy of the PS Vita version free when it launches in January.

As a reward to fans for their patience, Sony is giving away a free Mini-Boss Skin Pack with every purchase of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault on PlayStation 3, which features fan-favorite boss characters from past games in the series. (Pictured above.)

Thanks, PlayStation Blog.

Why am I not surprised by the delay?

I feel stupid because I’ve played every Ratchet game multiple times but I don’t recognize any of them as “boss characters”. o_O

Though I never finished All4One because it’s boring. So maybe they’re from there.

Insomniac is developing the PS3 version while PS Vita version is handled by Tin Giant… My guess for the delay is that Tin Giant(Probably a new studio) is having problems due to them being inexperienced..
