Dragon Quest X release date trailer
Latest footage full of gameplay.

Dragon Quest X is set for August 2 in Japan. In celebration of the release date, Square Enix has released the first new trailer since the game’s reveal back in September last year. Unlike the first clip, however, this one is focused largely on story and gameplay footage.

    Huge, huge fan of the Dragon Quest series, but sadly I’m passing up on this game, not a fan of mmorpgs. Nonetheless, for all the other DQ fans like me, be sure to watch the trailer, you’re in for some amazing classic DQ music. I watched the trailer knowing for sure I’d be treated to some amazing DQ main theme, and it turns out I was right.

    God I HATE Akira Toriyama’s art, to me EVERYTHING he draws looks the same. People accuse Nomura’s characters of having same face syndrome but THIS man’s stuff is on a whole other scale.

    On Topic: Game looks interesting, however with it being an MMO, I have no desire to play it as MMO’s take up far too much time to play to achieve anything substantial in the game.

    Pretty sad that graphically X looks worse that VIII. I’m not excited for this game to say the least.
