Ubisoft has confirmed rumors pointing to a dev team shuffle for Rainbow 6 Patriots.
David Sears, the game’s original creative director, is no longer on the project. Jean-Sebastien Decant, a designer on 2010’s Heavy Rain, now sits in the creative director seat. Considering the game’s choice-and-consequence system, he seems like a tidy fit.
Ubisoft did not confirm, however, whether narrative director Richard House III, lead designer Phillippe Therien, or animation director Brent George were still on the project.
“The Rainbow 6 Patriots development team is still hard at work to deliver the next instalment of the revered Tom Clancy series and more details on the game will be revealed at a later date,” said Ubisoft.
