Retailer lists God of War IV
New Zealand retailer says it's out in September.
New Zealand retailer Mighty Ape has listed God of War IV for a release of September 28, 2012.
God of War IV has yet to be announced by Sony, but it’s been rumored time and time again. It first leaked via a resume, and was then rumored by PSM3 for release in September 2012. Another rumor said it would have multiplayer.
It’s worth noting that the image they use for the listing (attached right) is a fan creation.

I hope that there is a new God of War game that features a new playable character instead of Kratos. If Kratos must appear in this game, I hope that he will bea some kind of a mentor to the new playable character, supporting character or a cameo.
If the game must feature Kratos as the main character again, I hope the story will be really, really awesome for us gamers to indulge and enjoy his return in GOWIV so that no weird plotholes appear in the game series storyline.
Eh no multiplayer please if there’s a God Of War IV. Doesn’t seem right, just do a leaderboard style like DMC and Ninja Gaiden and it will be all good.

It seems everything nowadays has to have Multiplayer. It annoys me to no end to see it crammed up in games like this, makes little sense if you ask me.
Then again, as long as it doesn’t affect the SP experience in the slighest, ’tis okay.

Awesome can’t wait. Sony is doing online to justify these online passes there doing. Which sucks.
