Following a Tokyo Game Show stage presentation, Namco Bandai sent out first official assets and details for Tales of Innocence R and Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave.
Tales of Innocence R
Tales of Innocence R is a re-imagination of Nintendo DS‘s Tales of Innocence for PlayStation Vita. A remake, essentially, it will add enhanced graphics, full voice acting, new characters, and new scenarios. It’ll integrate PlayStation Vita’s touch controls for its “Direct Interaction Linear Motion Battle System,” where players can tap a party member to issue commands.
It will also have a new theme song: “New Day, New Life” by Kokia. It’s out in 2012.
A trailer was released yesterday.
Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave
Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave, on the other hand, is an all-new title for PlayStation Portable. Players will form a team of two in this action RPG-take on the series. Countless enemies and a variety of attacks await.
The following playable characters have been confirmed: Yuri Lowell and Flynn Schifo (Vesperia), Jude Mathis and Mira Maxwell (Xillia), and Lloyd Irving and Zelos Wilder (Symphonia). Note that these are all lead characters. Characters are being pulled from fifteen Tales titles, each with their own scenario.
Twin Brave is also out in 2012.
