PS3 Firmware v2.80 Releasing Tomorrow

The PlayStation 3 debug version of the v2.80 firmware went up on the PlayStation press site earlier today. Now, thanks to Examiner, we know that the update is coming tomorrow and that Sony should post something about it either later tonight on the PlayStation.Blog or early tomorrow to let us know it’s coming.

Sadly, it’s going to be a basic update, but it will have “one new feature PS3 owners wants”, but “won’t be immediately useful to us”.
