History

The development of Paranormal Tales began in 2022 as a passion project from two close friends, Joe Henson and Joure Visser. The game was announced for the first time on 26 October 2022 and received significant positive feedback, amassing millions of views across social platforms and major news sites.

One month later, Joe Henson and Joure Visser announced Digital Cybercherries would take on a developing and publishing role, helping steer the game in the right direction while keeping the initial vision the creators have for the game in mind. The team of Paranormal Tales now consists of seven indie developers.
