City Shrouded in Shadow launches October 19 in Japan, adds Patlabor [Update]

AV-98 "Ingram" joins the fray of giant shadows.

City Shrouded in Shadow

City Shrouded in Shadow will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 19, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The magazine also confirms the new giant shadow teased last month is AV-98 “Ingram” Unit 1 from Patlabor.

Thanks, Famitsu.

Update 6:35 a.m.: City Shrouded in Shadow will cost 8,200 yen. Costumes from Disaster Report 1 and Disaster Report 2 are included as an early purchase bonus. The download version includes a bonus event scene featuring Sony Interactive Entertainment characters Toro and Kuro.

In addition to Ingram Unit 1, Patlabor‘s Pyro-Buster and Grau-Bear will also appear.

The magazine has silhouettes of two more giant shadows still to be announced. One of them appears to be Mothra. The other one is teased as “a giant that changes into a different type.”

Finally, the game’s Twitter account confirmed that its first official trailer will release on July 6.

Thanks, Ryokutya2089.
