NIS America has released new details about the characters of Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy, its upcoming dungeon RPG sequel from Experience.

The game tasks players with assembling a team after being selected to join the special forces unit known as the Xth Squad. As you progress through the story, you’ll meet members of the Xth Squad and also the feared Seven Hands.

Get the character details below.

Hikaru Nanase

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

A 3rd-year student at Hinowa Academy Middle School. She meets up with the Xth Squad after finding herself involved in a Hazard Case along with the story’s hero.

She lived abroad during elementary school, but after losing both of her parents she returned to Japan to live in an apartment belonging to her grandmother.

She can be quite cheeky at times, but she always maintains a positive attitude no matter the situation.

Kieru

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

This mysterious man crosses paths with the Xth Squad from time to time. For him, justice can only be attained by faithfully serving the Embryo.

Ilith

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

A Space Envoy from an alternate universe. She has taken over Masa’s old job of looking after the Xth Squad.

Alice Mifune

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

The strong-willed leader of the famous CPA special forces unit, the Xth Squad. She prefers to be called “Captain Alice.” Her father is Japanese, while her mother comes from the United Americas.

She uses her unrivaled leadership and sense of justice to lead the Xth Squad as they take on Hazard Cases. Her talents are beyond question, but her excessive recklessness causes unending headaches for her bosses.

Noriko Hibino

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

A 3rd-year student at Hinowa Academy and student council president. She is well liked among her peers for her kindness and generosity.

As a member of the Xth Squad, she constantly frets over Hikaru’s well-being as they take on Hazard Cases.

Kaito Saeki

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

A 3rd-year student at Hinowa Academy and student council president. She is well liked among her peers for her kindness and generosity.

As a member of the Xth Squad, she constantly frets over Hikaru’s well-being as they take on Hazard Cases.

Kenichi Kanzaki

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

Dean of Hinowa Academy, as well as the director of the CPA and a highly valued government figure. He’s effusive by nature, and earned himself a reputation for having conducted some rather peculiar experiments during his days working in the CPA research laboratory.

As the CPA director he’s still as talkative as ever, and can often be seen lecturing new team members and boasting about his past experiment results. He also happens to be Alice’s father.

The Seven Hands

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

Inhuman beings whose sole goal is to destroy an object known as the “Imperial Core.” They were apparently created by Tenmei Muramasa.

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy is due out for PS Vita and PC this spring.
