DotEmu has released the first in a series of developer diaries for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, its upcoming remake of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap from Lizardcube.

The developer diary features creator of the new version and development lead Omar Cornut, art director Ben Fiquet, art director, and creator of the original Wonder Boy Ryuichi Nishizawa. It provides insights into the project’s origins, exclusive game images, and some anecdotes from Nishizawa concerning the original version.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is in development for consoles and PC.
