14 minutes of Vampyr pre-alpha gameplay

An extended look at Dontnod Entertainment's vampire action RPG.

Vampyr

Focus Home Interactive has released a 15-minute gameplay pre-alpha gameplay video of Vampyr, its upcoming action RPG from Dontnod Entertainment.

The video showcases some of the idea that make Vampyr unique, where the narrative is directly tied to the gameplay. The presentation begins a little after the beginning of the game. Now aware of being a vampire, the protagonist Dr. Jonathan Reid must come to terms with what he has become, meeting some of the characters you will interact with along your journey, some of whom are aware of what you are and also share the same affliction.

Focus Home Interactive notes that, given this is a pre-alpha demo, many aspects are still “very early” in their development process, most notably the combat system.

Vampyr is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2017.
